Reduce risks and identify potential problems

Use a pilot project to test out innovations on a small scale before you roll them out across your organisation

The story doesn’t end when you have found your innovation or finished your R&D. You need to get it into use. Pilot projects are an essential first step.

Why you need a pilot project

Pilot projects let you test out new innovations without going all-in. If it works, you have a success story, which helps with rolling it out. If it doesn’t work, you can find out without using up all of your resources. Either way, you have useful experience.

How we help

We run successful pilot projects by:

  • Setting clear goals and defining success
  • Having a clear scope, budget, and time plan
  • Identifying customers and stakeholders
  • Gathering feedback
  • Documenting everything.

In some cases, we can also help you find funding. For example, sometimes the German ZiM programme might be appropriate.
